1980 Rescued by a good samaritan from a near drowning incident
1996 Begin my work-life in the neuroscience department at UCLA where I researched and published work on perception
1998 Travel/work through Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, & Asia, ending up on a small off-grid island off the coast of New Zealand
2000 Return to California with an ambivalent sense of purpose. Begin working as a public-school teacher in Title 1 schools
2003 Begin working in the business of retaining education leaders as an organizational consultant in NYC.
2005 Marriage; 3 kids
2007 Start practicing Research for Infant Educators (RIE) parenting approach dedicated to creating a culture of authentic, respectful humans.
2014 Divorce. For the first time in my life, allow myself to be in contradiction, both broken and totally whole…open to this human experience.
2015 Start practicing daily mindfulness with Insight LA.
